Description
The most common method for fixing down artificial grass is using 6-inch galvanised steel pins. Easy to use and provide a strong enough fixing for most lawn applications. All you need is a hammer, spread the pile of the grass to hammer the pin through the lawn and into the subbase. Be sure to avoid trapping the pile of the grass under the head of the nail for best possible finish. Sold as individuals, packs of 50 and entire boxes (approx. 700 pins in one entire box).
We recommended spacing the pins every 6-inches. Best way to do this is using the pins as spacers for the most secure and consistent edge fixing. To calculate how many pins you need, add up the perimeter of your lawn area in linear metres and then divide this by 0.15m to get the number of pins required.
